Vision Science Academy conducted the Vision Science Talks observing CVI Awareness Month
London, UK – September, 2025 – Vision Science Academy (VSA) proudly conducted a global webinar celebrating the CVI Awareness Month 2025. This webinar brought together professionals, students and the general audience to learn about CVI and how it can be effectively managed using Low Vision Aids, Assistive Technologies and Environmental Modifications. The event observed a global outreach of 18 different countries. The event was conducted virtually on Zoom, reinforcing VSA’s commitment to advancing education in all aspects of vision sciences.
The webinar was expertly hosted by Kristi Sharma, maintaining a highly interactive session for all attendees. The event began with a warm welcome address, followed by a brief quiz to recapitulate the previous month’s discussion on CVI.
The speaker of this event was Daliya Patterkadavan, Managing Director, Consultant Paediatric Optometrist and CVI Practitioner, Vision Eye Care Vision Therapy Centre, who expertly covered the importance of Low Vision Aids and vision rehabilitation strategies in managing patients with CVI.
The session concluded with an interactive Q&A, where participants engaged with the speaker, followed by a short address by Ms. Rupali, Consultant Paediatric Optometrist, Save Sight Centre. The closing remarks and vote of thanks was delivered by Kristi Sharma.
