Mahima Chandra

Dr. Jingjing You is an Associate Professor at the School of Medical Sciences, the University of Sydney, and a Sydney Horizon Fellow. She leads the Biomedical Innovation Group and co-leads the BioVision Group, and is an Adjunct Academic at the University of New South Wales. She is a managing committee member of BIENCO (Bioengineering Human Cornea), co-founder of the ANZ Corneal Bioengineering Working Group, and Chief Scientific Advisor to iFix Medical Pvt. Ltd. and Retinal Repair International. She also serves as a publishing committee member for American Society for Investigative Pathology. Associate Professor You’s research focuses on biomaterials, biomanufacturing, and bioengineering-enabled disease treatments, integrating advanced manufacturing and machine-learning approaches. Over the past five years, she has attracted more than A$40 million in research funding, including a A$35 million flagship program in bioengineering human cornea. She holds six intellectual properties, published over 40 peer-reviewed papers, and developed collagen-based bioinks for 3D printing with applications in corneal and retinal repair. She is a frequent invited and keynote speaker at international conferences.
