A Message from the Editor-In-Chief
Writing is an integral part of scientific research, beginning from framing a research idea, drafting a proposal, compiling the insights into an article, till communicating the salient findings to the scientific fraternity. The history of a scientific journal dates from the 18th century where the systematic publication of research findings began which flourished in time to high quality peer-reviewed ones.
In science writing the expression of understanding can come in many forms such as conference papers, manuscripts, review articles, editorial letters, blog posts, academic books, chapters, or theses. Was it not for writing, we would still be repeating the same experiments, probably with the same errors too?

The scientific field is dynamically evolving, and the advancements are never-ending. Thus it is the liability of the scientific writers to empower fellow being for the benefit of mankind. It is through only precise and effective scientific writing we can engage and advance audiences from different backgrounds.
For professionals, scientific writing comes with multiple academic benefits, be it to fulfil certain credit points for academic activities, securing a job, a promotion, or acquiring research grants. At Vision Science Academy, we aim towards reaching out to more authors by giving them the platform to share their works to the community via different mediums of writing.
The Vision Science Academy aka VSA is open towards any speciality and provides the freedom to the authors to choose their comfortable medium of expressing the knowledge. Be it the blog post issue or the upcoming Journal of Vision Science (JVS), we encourage authors to share their research with the scientific fraternity.
