London, UK – April 25, 2026 – Vision Science Academy is delighted to announce Kristi Sharma as the Most Productive Team Member for the year 2025–2026, in recognition of her outstanding contributions, commitment, and leadership.
Kristi Sharma, currently serving as Education Engagement Manager, was appointed to this role last year following her tenure as an Editorial Assistant. Since then, she has played a key role in strengthening engagement, partnerships, and operational excellence across the organisation.
She has been consistently hosting the VS Talks series, while also leading and hosting multiple e-symposiums, webinars, and awareness initiatives, including the flagship research platform Research and Beyond. Her efforts in creating high-visibility awareness videos and contributing to course development and academic programming have significantly enhanced the academy’s outreach and impact.
Kristi has also been instrumental in initiating the Elite Optometrist Program, organising and hosting World Sight Day events and related campaigns, and facilitating the Membership and Fellowship programs. As the Global Coordinator for the Global Myopia Ecosystem, she has worked extensively to support its development and expansion.
In addition, she has contributed as a Program Manager for the World Vision Science Day initiative, where she also initiated the SYNAPSE Program, an e-symposium platform designed to advance dialogue and inter-disciplinary collaboration in vision sciences.
Her ability to manage multiple high-impact initiatives, drive engagement, and contribute to strategic growth reflects her exceptional dedication and capability. The Vision Science Academy looks forward to her continued contributions as she helps shape the future of global vision science education and collaboration.
