The results are in!
We are delighted to announce the Top 10 Winners of the July–August 2026 Blog Competition, organised by Vision Science Academy.
The competition invited students, professionals, researchers and members of the vision science community to share their knowledge, perspectives and ideas through engaging and informative blog writing.
We were inspired by the quality, diversity and originality of the submissions received during this edition. Each entry reflected a unique perspective and demonstrated the growing enthusiasm for scientific communication within the vision science community.

More Than a Competition
The Blog Competition is more than a writing challenge. It is an opportunity to think critically, communicate scientific ideas and contribute to conversations that can influence the future of vision care.
The July–August 2026 submissions explored a wide range of themes, reflecting the evolving landscape of Optometry and Vision Sciences. From clinical practice and research to public awareness, innovation and emerging challenges in eye care, the competition demonstrated the value of giving vision science professionals and aspiring professionals a platform to share their perspectives.
