Vision Science Academy and New Taipei City Optometrists Association Announce “MYOPIA X”
A New Flagship Webinar Series for the Global Myopia Ecosystem

London, UK / New Taipei City, Taiwan — August 31, 2026: Vision Science Academy (VSA) and the New Taipei City Optometrists Association (NTCOA) are pleased to announce the upcoming launch of MYOPIA X, a new collaborative international webinar series that will serve as a flagship webinar series of the Global Myopia Ecosystem.
Connecting Global Expertise Around Myopia
Bringing together expertise from across clinical optometry, vision science, public health, research, education and Myopia management, MYOPIA X aims to create a global platform for meaningful conversations around one of the most important challenges facing eye and vision care today.
The series will explore emerging evidence, clinical approaches, innovative technologies, prevention strategies and global perspectives on Myopia, while creating opportunities for professionals and students to engage with experts and colleagues from different regions of the world.
MYOPIA X is envisioned as more than a webinar series. It will be a platform for cross-border knowledge exchange and professional collaboration, connecting the global vision community around the shared goal of improving Myopia prevention, detection and management.
Through expert-led sessions, discussions and interdisciplinary perspectives, the series will highlight both the scientific advances and the practical challenges shaping the future of Myopia care.
The collaboration between VSA and NTCOA reflects a shared commitment to strengthening international professional networks and making high-quality Myopia education more accessible to the global vision-care community.
