Vision Science Academy Successfully Celebrates International Women’s Day 2025

The event, held virtually on Zoom, aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, reinforcing VSA’s commitment to supporting women’s empowerment in the workplace.

The event was expertly hosted by Kristi Sharma and co-hosted by Aakanksha Pathania, who did a phenomenal job ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for all attendees. The celebration began with a warm welcome address, highlighting the significance of International Women’s Day and VSA’s role in promoting gender equality in vision sciences.

The keynote address was delivered by Dr. Kalpa Negiloni, whose insights into the evolving role of women in technological advancements were truly inspiring. Her speech set the tone for an engaging discussion on the challenges and opportunities women face in the field.
