Vision Science Academy Successfully Celebrates International Women’s Day 2025
London, UK – March 9, 2025 – Vision Science Academy (VSA) proudly hosted a successful International Women’s Day 2025 event, bringing together professionals, researchers, and advocates from around the world to celebrate Women in the Technological Advancements of Vision Sciences. The event, held virtually on Zoom, aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, reinforcing VSA’s commitment to supporting women’s empowerment in the workplace.
The event was expertly hosted by Kristi Sharma and co-hosted by Aakanksha Pathania, who did a phenomenal job ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for all attendees. The celebration began with a warm welcome address, highlighting the significance of International Women’s Day and VSA’s role in promoting gender equality in vision sciences.
The keynote address was delivered by Dr. Kalpa Negiloni, whose insights into the evolving role of women in technological advancements were truly inspiring. Her speech set the tone for an engaging discussion on the challenges and opportunities women face in the field.
A powerful panel discussion followed, featuring esteemed panelists Ms. Jingyi Chen, Ms. Mehal Rathore, Ms. Sangeetha Nagarajan, and Dr. Kalpa Negiloni.
